Dr. Cascante is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the NYU Langone Fertility Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, NY. During her residency, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her compassionate care. Dr. Cascante joined the NYU Fertility Center Team in 2023. Dr. Cascante earned her medical degree from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
Dr. Cascanteundefineds most recent clinical articles have been published in Fertility undefined Sterility, the Journal of Assisted Reproduction, and Reproductive Biomedicine Online. She has presented her research at national and international conferences for more than a decade, and remains actively involved in research on egg freezing and infertility. Dr. Cascante has received several awards for her research including, the Society of Reproductive Biologists Technologists Clinical Science award, the Joseph E. Constantine Award for Outstanding Scholarly Work in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Gordon Watkins Douglas Honorundefineds Day Under the Microscope Best Poster Award.
Her areas of special interest include egg and embryo freezing, infertility, in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic testing, family-building for LGBTQ patients, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, oocyte donation, and hysteroscopy. She is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
